ToDoWin 3.0 requires COMCTL32.DLL version 4.71 or later to be in your SYSTEM (or SYSTEM32) directory. ToDoWin will check the version on your system on startup and warn if you need an upgrade. Microsoft has fairly strict limitations as to how this DLL may be distributed, so rather than tack it onto my own Setup, I'm making it available through my web site. If you have problems you believe are related to this DLL, install the latest version from my web site.
Try "AT" or "ATZ" for your modem Init String first. If that doesn't work, click here to look through the table of possible alternatives. Look for your modem model in the table, and try the suggested Init String. If that doesn't work, you'll have to contact your paging provider for advice.
